Welcome to Dr. Armand Rossi`s email newsletter:
Kid`s Unlimited
July 5, 2006
Kid`s Unlimited is a monthly newsletter of various articles, funnies, tidbits and opinions relating to our children and chiropractic. My opinions will always be in red and italicized. Please feel free to share the appropriate articles with patients, friends and other chiropractors. I never buy any lists or put names on my email list unless the names were given to me directly. If you wish to be removed from the list, just type the word "remove" in the subject line and reply back to me.
Together we will make a difference.
Yours in Chiropractic,
Armand M. Rossi

We managed to be so laid back that we completely skipped the month of June. So now it is July and time for our next Kid`s Unlimited. I would like to share with everyone what happened at my office around June 2nd, which was my birthday.
I`m not the type of person who likes to make a big deal of my birthday. This year, however, my CA`s planned a truly special birthday for me. They knew how much the ICPA means to me. They knew how getting chiropractic care to kids means so much to me.
They started a few days before my birthday and began asking patients if they would consider making a donation to the ICPA in lieu of any gifts to me for my birthday. They never mentioned anything to me until the evening of my birthday when my CA, Sheryl, read a beautiful note to me and let me know that my practice donated a total of $735.00 in my name to the ICPA.
I could not have asked for a better present. I was extremely moved and grateful. Then I realized how my entire practice had wanted to be a part of the cause of children and chiropractic. Once again, we have taken a step forward in getting the whole world subluxation - free.
Think about doing this in your own practice. If you need more information on how to donate to the ICPA, check out the website at: www.icpa4kids.com . If not the ICPA, then find another charity to work with. It is wonderful....
Fast Company rated chiropractic as the 10th best career choice for the years ahead.
Top Jobs 2006
The best jobs to pursue today? Fast Company again draws on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to compile a list of 25 great careers for the years ahead.
By: Yuval Rosenberg
Finding your dream job can be a real nightmare. Career counselors suggest following your passion, and that`s sage advice. Yet outstanding opportunities--jobs that offer high growth potential, good salaries, and intellectual stimulation--aren`t always easy to come by. That`s why, for the second year in a row, FastCompany.com has surveyed the labor landscape to determine where the best prospects for the coming years can be found.
What`s changed in the span of just a year? Not a whole lot--but more than you might expect. You`ll find many similarities between this year`s 25 Top Jobs and last year`s list: Lawyers, financial advisors, computer software engineers, and stockbrokers all rank highly once again. Health-care occupations pepper the list as well--and should present increasing opportunities given our growing and aging population. In the coming decade, "about three out of every ten new jobs created in the U.S. economy will be in either the healthcare and social assistance or private educational services sectors," the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects.
But given updated government data, we`ve also found a number of other appealing jobs in burgeoning fields. Those new titles are also, at least in part, the result of a slight change in our methodology:
How We Created Our List
Just as we did last year, we set out in search of jobs that will be in high demand, offer excellent potential salaries, and typically require some level of higher education. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, we started by narrowing the field to careers that would appeal most to Fast Company readers--business and professional occupations or those in creative fields. Then, to find positions increasingly in demand, we used projected job-growth data through 2014 and ranked the occupations to find those with the greatest growth. That ranking accounted for 40% of our final score. Compensation is always a consideration, so next we examined government data on salary levels and again looked at the difference between the 90th percentile earnings and 10th percentile earnings for each job--an indication of the opportunities for profitable growth and advancement. That ranking also made up 40% of our final score.
Finally, because we still believe that a great job requires significant investment in education, we ranked occupations by the percentage of workers in those jobs that hold a college degree or higher. This accounted for the final 20% of our score. In the end, we arrived at the list you see below. The outlook for each of these occupations should be bright. And more generally, as demographic trends progress, prospects for skilled and educated workers should only improve, notes Dr. Kevin Stolarick, an assistant professor at the Information Systems Program at Carnegie Mellon University and an expert on the Creative Class. As baby boomers enter retirement starting this year, for example, employers may be hard pressed to fill their positions; for every two people leaving the workforce, only one new person is entering, Stolarick says. "You can`t spontaneously create a 21-year college graduate out of thin air, South Korean cloning notwithstanding," he says.
All of which means that your dream job may be closer than ever. We can`t promise that you`ll find it here, but this list should be a good place to start.

Merck sued over osteoporosis drug
Merck is being sued over another drug. A new lawsuit claims the company was negligent in promoting Fosamax, an osteoporosis drug.
By Theresa Agovino
Associated Press
Merck & Co. which is already facing a raft of cases over its pain reliever Vioxx, may need to hire additional attorneys to fight a recently filed lawsuit alleging the company was negligent in promoting its osteoporosis drug Fosamax.
According to a lawsuit filed Monday in federal court in Fort Myers, Fosamax is a defective product because it can cause osteonecrosis of the jaw, or a rotting of the jaw bone. The suit, which seeks class-action status, alleges Merck concealed and continues to hide Fosamax`s potentially dangerous side effects from patients and doctors.
Fosamax is Merck`s second best-selling drug, with $3.2 billion in sales.
In a statemnt, Merck said that in all of its clinical trials of Fosamax, which have included more than 17,000 patients, it has not had any reports of osteonecrosis of the jaw. Merck said that there have been reports of patients taking Fosamax developing the condition, but that doesn`t necessarily mean the drug caused it.
Fosamax belongs to a category of drugs known as nitrogenous bisphosphonates, according to the lawsuit. Some other drugs in that category are used for chemotherapy, and the lawsuit says medical journals had been reporting a connection between those medicines and the jaw condition. The suit contends that since Fosamax is in the same class of drugs, Merck should have known its product could lead to such problems.
The lawsuit further claims the U.S. Food and Drug Administration asked Merck to add a warning to Fosamax`s label in August of 2004 and that it has yet to comply awith that request.
Merck counters it received a request from the FDA to update the label with information about the condition in January 2005. It says that by July 2005 information regarding the problem was on the label.
But Tim O`Brien, who filed the suit, said the information in the label isn`t an adequate warning. An FDA official said the agency doesn`t comment on its negotiations with companies over labels.
Merck faces nearly 10,000 lawsuits over Vioxx, which it withdrew from the market in September 2004 after a study showed it doubled patients risk of heart attacks and strokes. Merck has set aside $970 million to fight the lawsuits in court.
This week, a New Jersey jury ordered Merck to pay $4.5 million in compensatory damages and $9 million in punitive damages to a 77-year-old diabetic who took Vioxx for four years.

HELPFUL HINTS IN RADIOLOGY
David D. Millman, D.C., D.A.C.B.R.
FACTORS RESULTING IN POOR IMAGE QUALITY
· KVA transformer may be inadequate
· KVA transformer may be located too far from the x-ray machine
· X-ray unit may need to be calibrated
· Wiring in the x-ray room may be too small
· Cassettes may be older than 7 years
· Poor screen contact could exist
· The focal spot may be pitted or too large
· Exposure factors incorrect for a given patient
KVA TRANSFORMER
The KVA transformer is a relatively small barrel shaped device usually on a light pole nearest your office. It enables electrical power to produce x-rays through your x-ray unit. Your power company is responsible for having an adequate size KVA transformer for your x-ray unit. If you have any doubts, call your power company and ask them to check yours. When the KVA transformer is inadequate, it will be very difficult to x-ray larger patients. Many of those films will be underpenetrated.
CALIBRATION
When the x-ray machine is very inconsistent, it may need to be calibrated. Some hospitals recalibrate every six months to a year.
WIRING
Some of the wiring in the x-ray room may be too small. I once had a 500 Ma machine replaced with a 600 Ma unit and the larger wiring cost over a thousand dollars. If the wiring is inadequate, many films will be very light or underpenetrated in larger persons; especially in the lateral lumbar projections.
CASSETTES
When cassettes are more than 7 years old, they are usually sufficiently deteriorated to require replacement. Film quality will be suboptimal at best until the cassettes are replaced. Also, some cassettes become warped with poor screen contact necessitating their replacement. Your x-ray supplier should be able to test your cassettes to determine if they have good screen contact.
FOCAL SPOT
In older x-ray units, some of the focal spots are either too large or pitted which produces poor image quality. More recent tubes have smaller rotating anode capability which results in a more detailed image. All things being equal, the smaller the focal spot, the better the film image. If your film quality is unacceptable, it may be due to the focal spot and in some instances, the tube may need to be replaced. X-ray tubes have a large and a small focal spot. The large focal spot is still smaller than the older ones and produces very good radiographs. Now, high frequency x-ray units have relatively small focal spots and the radiographs are generally superior to films made by ordinary x-ray units.
GENERATOR AND TUBE SAFEGUARDS
Modern x-ray generators and tubes have built-in mechanical or electronic warning systems when the tube capacity or the generator capacity has been exceeded. Some have a loud alert sound or a bright light to alert the operator of the danger to the tube or generator. Some actually shut off the machine before damage occurs, if the system is working properly. My recommendation is to use the x-ray unit within safety limits as though the safeguards were not present because you never know when they will fail to function.
GRIDS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF THEIR SIZE OR RATIO
Most spine films require a grid to produce acceptable film quality. Grids are either stationary or moveable. Grids are composed of thin lead lines that prevent angling rays from striking the film thus improving the film quality. You can determine the grid size within your grid cabinet or bucky diaphragm by removing the front cover of the cassette carrier. Some require a screwdriver while others are adhered by adhesive and can be easily removed. The grid is then visible and one can note the grid size. Grid sizes range from 6:1, 8:1, 10:1, 12-1. An 8:1 grid can handle a maximum of 80 Kvp, whereas a 10:1 can handle up to 90 Kvp, and a 12:1 up to 100 Kvp and above. A 6:1 grid is not recommended for spine work. When I was in practice, using a 12:1 grid, I frequently used more than 110 Kvp on very large patients over 300 pounds with excellent detail.
X-RAY FILM READING
The first goal of all chiropractic doctors who x-ray their patients is to obtain as good detail as possible in order to gain information which will rule out serious disorders or conditions that require referral. Failure to ascertain the presence of cancer, fractures or other serious problems that are best treated in medical specialists’ offices, results in potential harm to the patient, the chiropractor’s reputation and the reputation of the chiropractic profession.
Regardless of the brilliance of the x-ray film illuminator, a high level of background lighting results in an unfavorable viewing circumstance. Too much background lighting or overhead lighting results in some glare which reflects off the viewbox reducing contrast. The amount of overhead or background light overwhelms the eyes. A second factor is the light emanating from a lit viewbox the portion of which is not covered by x-ray film. It is like the blinding glare from the bright headlights of an oncoming car. The extraneous light from above, within the room and emanating from the illuminator is said to be scattered within the eyes. Therefore, much less image contrast is perceived and much less information is able to be visualized. The worst effects are from the glaring light which occurs when an 8x10 or a 10x12 film or both are in a 14x17 viewbox or a 14x36 illuminator in which the unmasked area allows a stream of light that obscures some or many of the findings that would be seen with good viewing conditions.
The solution to this problem is to mask the films in the following manner. First take an 8x10 film and measure it in the upper middle of a 14x17 inch cardboard, Cut it out with a razor blade or scissors. Now when you read an 8x10 film in the viewbox, it can be masked or surrounded by the cut out cardboard which restricts the extraneous light. The difference in one’s ability to observe x-ray findings with the masked film as compared to the unmasked film is considerable. You will be amazed at the difference. You can do this for any combination of films and especially if you use a 14x36 inch viewbox which has glaring light when viewing 14x17 films.
HIGH INTENSITY OR “HOT LIGHT” USAGE
Because there are many instances when x-rays penetrate dissimilar thicknesses which results in some areas that are overpenetrated, there is no other way to view the tissues unless a “hot light” is used. I have been reading x-ray films for chiropractors since 1978 and find it necessary to use the “hot light” on nearly every set of films. It is best to have a 75 or 100 watt bulb. The “hot light” utilizing a 40 watt bulb is usually inadequate.
PRACTICE DEFENSIVELY
The following case illustrates the importance of having a high index of suspicion and getting a second opinion when there is the slightest doubt. A female patient visited a chiropractic colleague. Her history indicated breast surgery, two years before, the biopsy of which was negative. A year and a half later, her neck symptoms brought her to the chiropractor after seeing her medical doctor who had ordered a bone scan some time before. The bone scan was negative. I reviewed the cervical films which revealed a partial collapse of C6 vertebral body accompanied by some areas of focal radiolucency. The chiropractor referred her to her medical doctor who ordered another bone scan. This time it was positive (cancer). Surgery was performed to stabilize C6-7 area.

Here is a letter from one of our readers:
Dear Dr. Rossi,
I agree that it is difficult to x-ray infants and children as Dr. Millman wrote in your recent newsletter dated May 26, 2006:
"HELPFUL HINTS IN RADIOLOGY
David D. Millman, D.C., D.A.C.B.R.
The Millman innovation
If you do not have an x-ray table, how do you x-ray an infant or a child who can’t stand? Here is the simple solution: Place a portable chiropractic adjusting table or a desk parallel to the cassette carrier. Place the patient on his/her back on the table..."
I find the floor to be the safest place to take an x-ray. No need to add to the difficulties by worrying about the infant or child falling off the table or desk and they are more "at home" on the floor any way.
I enjoy reading your newsletter,
Wes Sheader, DC, DICCP

Just recently I heard how they are now determining "Road Rage" to be a mental disorder. Of course if it is a mental disorder then there must be some kind of pharmacological treatment for it. Sounds like another session of psycological mischief. Anyway, I found this article from a prominent psychologist that puts a better light on the subject.
Is Road Rage a Mental Disorder?
From Leonard Holmes, Ph.D.,Your Guide to Mental Health Resources.
"Road rage" is a popular topic on the talk show circuit. I once saw an episode of `Politically Incorrect` that featured a psychologist (Arnold Nerenberg, Ph.D.) who claimed to have "discovered" road rage as a new mental disorder. It bothers me when people discover new disorders, especially when they appear to be setting themselves up as pioneers in the treatment of these "disorders." The same thing happened with "Internet addiction" a few years ago. While some people clearly have problems with their Internet use, this does not mean that they are necessarily `addicted` to the Internet.
There has been a backlash in the United States over the pathologizing of behavior. Some fear that defining road rage as a mental disorder will allow criminals to plead that they were mentally ill and not responsible for their actions. This opinion was expressed by several on Politically Incorrect, and Dr. Nerenberg was defensive all night. The "insanity defense" is actually a legal concept and it is not directly related to diagnosed mental illness. I doubt that we will see criminals defended because they suffer from a mental illness called road rage.
The psychologist who "discovered the disorder" of road rage described it as an impulse control disorder. Many of us have an impulse to "flip off" or curse at a driver who annoys us. Most of us don`t do it; or we curse quietly. Others of us honk or flash our lights to express our annoyance. A few of us take out our shotguns and fire at other drivers.
Interstate traffic in southeast Virginia and elsewhere has been steadily becoming more crowded. All traffic between Norfolk and Williamsburg is required to squeeze through one of two tunnels. Back-ups of an hour or two are common when there is an accident in the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. I was stuck in a 90 minute back-up recently, and I got an opportunity to witness and experience a mild form of road rage.
As traffic ground to a halt on the interstate I noticed myself becoming extremely impatient. I was in no particular hurry, but I did not want to just sit there. Cars started using the shoulder to whiz by me, and I found myself getting irritated at them. Eventually I used the shoulder myself for a short distance to get off at the nearest exit. I was able to drive down a parallel road before becoming stuck again as I approached the Interstate closer to the tunnel. As I merged in with another lane of traffic a car quickly drove beside me to keep me from entering the lane. It began to feel like a competition. I kept driving and she kept driving. She screamed something at me about a lawsuit, and I stopped to let her continue. My heart was pounding as I pulled into the lane behind her.
Was this woman suffering from a mental disorder? Was I? Some of our driving behavior may stem from our innate territoriality. A recent study found that motorists take significantly longer to leave a parking place if someone else is waiting for it We seem to be saying "I have this space right now, and I won`t give it up until I`m ready." Driving slowly in the "fast lane" seems to be conveying a similar message. Cars also provide some degree of anonymity. It feels like it is my car against your car rather than me against. you. This anonymity may allow us to act out impulses we would never act out face-to-face. As highways become more crowded these problems will only get worse.
The Iowa Department of Transportation has a site devoted to preventing road rage. They note that "persons who are characteristically cynics, rude, angry or aggressive are prone to get angry [on the highway] more often." Impatient "type A" personalities may also be more likely to express their rage on the highway. The Iowa site lists the following Common Motorist Irritants:
Tailgating to pressure a driver to go faster or get out of the way.
Flashing lights in order to signal persons to move to another lane.
Obscene gesturing.
Changing lanes without signaling.
Blasting the horn.
Frequently changing lanes by weaving back and forth.
Racing to beat a yellow light that`s about to turn red.
Traveling in the passing or left lane at a slower speed, making it impossible for others to pass.
Driving with the high beams on behind another vehicle or toward oncoming traffic.
Cutting people off.
Slowing down after passing someone.
Not making a right turn in the right-hand turn lane.
Not reacting quickly after the red light turns green. (from Iowa DOT Road Rage Page)
One of the bests way to avoid becoming a victim of a "road rage" driver is to consciously avoid responding in kind. Remember that what may appear to be harassment may be simply a mistake in driving. One study found that a large percentage of drivers reported having been tailgated, but only a very much small number admitted to having tailgated others. If the other driver`s aggressive behavior is intentional, the best thing to do is to avoid eye contact and get out of the way. Don`t allow driving to become a competition.

"Friends are God`s way of taking care of us."
This was written by a Hospice of Metro Denver physician.
I just had one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and wanted to share it with my family and dearest friends:
I was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5, stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and splutter and die - I barely managed to coast, cursing, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn`t even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the "quickie mart" building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a Gas pump, so I got out to see if she was okay.
When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than that she had fallen; she was a young woman who looked really haggard with dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and I picked it up to give it to her. It was a nickel.
At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95.
I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept saying "I don`t want my kids to see me crying," so we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California and that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, "And you were praying?" That made her back away from me a little, but I assured her I was not a crazy person and said, "He heard you, and He sent me."
I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so she could fill up her car completely, and while it was fueling, walked to the next door McDonald`s and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the car, who attacked it like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little.
She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas City. Her boyfriend left 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn`t have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in about 5 years. They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to get on her feet there.
So she packed up everything she owned in the car She told the kids they were going to California for Christmas, but not that they were going to live there.
I gave her my gloves, a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she said, "So, are you like an angel or something?"
This definitely made me cry. I said, "Sweetie, at this time of year angels are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people."
It was so incredible to be a part of someone else`s miracle. And of course, you guessed it, when I got in my car it started right away and got me home with no problem. I`ll put it in the shop tomorrow to check, but I suspect the mechanic won`t find anything wrong.
Sometimes the angels fly close enough to you that you can hear the flutter of their wings...
Psalms 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree`s life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it`s winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
Moral:
Don`t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don`t judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come.

Lessons on Life
A nice refresher
A man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of
hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn`t look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could.
He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside
was a beautiful, precious stone!
Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He
found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him.
He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away!
It`s like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn`t look like much from the outside. It isn`t always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it.
We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy, but we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person.
There is a treasure in each and every one of us. If we take the time to get to know that person, then the
clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth.
May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships
because the gems were hidden in bits of clay.
May we see the people in our world through open hearts and minds. I am so blessed by the gems of friendship I have with each of you.
Thank you for looking beyond my clay vessel.

The Duck & the Devil
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents
on their farm. He
was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the
woods, but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he
headed back for dinner. As he was
walking back he saw Grandma`s pet duck.
Just out of
impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head, and
killed it. He was shocked and grieved.
In
a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to see his sister
watching! Sally had seen it all,
but she said nothing.
After
lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let`s wash the dishes." But Sally
said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen. Then she whispered to him,
"Remember the duck? So Johnny
did the dishes.
Later that day, Grandpa asked if the
children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, "I`m sorry but I need Sally
to help make supper."
Sally just smiled and said," Well that`s all right
because Johnny told me he wanted to help." She whispered again, "Remember
the duck?" So Sally
went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.
After several
days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sallys... he finally couldn`t stand
it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed
the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, "Sweetheart, I
know.
You
see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I
love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally
make a slave of you."
Thought for the day and every day
thereafter?
Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... and
the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear,
bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.) .whatever it is....You need to
know that God was
standing at the window and He saw the whole thing..... He has seen your whole life. He
wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven.
He`s just wondering
how long you will let the devil
make a slave of you. The great thing about God is that
when you ask for forgiveness, He
not only forgives you, but He forgets.....

I must send my thanks to whoever sent me the e-mail about rat poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet towel with every envelope that needs sealing.
Also,
I now have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.
I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die in the hospital for the 1,387,258th time.
I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.
I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa`s novena has granted my every wish.
I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.
I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.
Thanks to you, I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an email to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.
Because of your concern I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.
I no longer can buy gasoline without taking a man along to watch the car so a serial killer won`t crawl in my back seat when I`m pumping gas.
I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr. Pepper since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put "Under God" on their cans.
I no longer use Saran wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.
And thanks for letting me know I can`t boil a cup water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face...disfiguring me for life.
I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be nicked with a needle infected with AIDS.
I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.
I no longer receive packages from UPS or FedEx since they are actually Al Qaeda in disguise.
I no longer shop at Target since they are French and don`t support our American troops or the Salvation Army.
I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore, and Uzbekistan.
I no longer have any sneakers -- but that will change once I receive my free replacement pair from Nike.
Thanks to you, I can`t use anyone`s toilet but mine because a big brown African spider is lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites my butt.
Thank you too for all the endless advice Andy Rooney has given us. I can live a better life now because he`s told us how to fix everything.
And thanks to your great advice, I can`t ever pick up $5.00 I dropped in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to grab my leg.
Oh, and don`t forget this one either:
I can no longer drive my car because I can`t buy gas from certain gas companies!
If you don`t send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next
70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at
5:00 PM this afternoon and the fleas from 12 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor`s ex-mother-in-law`s second husband`s cousin`s beautician...
Have a wonderful day!

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR GUIDANCE?
· Do you dream of a more fulfilling, successful, joyous practice and personal life?
· Would you like to find the internal reasons that hold you back?
· Does the idea of allowing yourself to grow at your own pace, being gently pushed rather than shoved around appeal to you?
· Does the concept of a long-term financial contract frighten you?
If so, then it sounds like you could use some guidance.
There are a multitude of coaches in our profession. Everyone has their own style and regimen. This is fine if you want someone to totally take over and transform your practice.
I am not one to “hold your hand”. I will work with you to get to the inner blocks that are holding you back, and then guide you through them. Let me help facilitate your personal growth.
If you would like to know more please email me at drrossi@rossichiropractic.com
Or call my office at 954-971-6800.
Thanks,
Armand Rossi D.C.
